WARDOGS server operations

YOUR RCON DESK STARTS HERE.

Connect a server, manage live operations and give trusted administrators only the access they need. The account that adds the RCON connection remains its primary owner.

RCON passwords are encrypted at rest and sent only to the server they belong to. They are never shown to invited administrators, site administrators or public visitors.

Complete these steps once for each server. Nothing in this process makes private server controls public.

    Use your WARDOGS NOW account

    Sign in with the account that should permanently own the RCON connection.

    Enable RCON with your host

    Ask your approved host for the server address, RCON port and primary RCON password.

    Add the secure connection

    Enter the connection once. The password is encrypted and is never returned to the browser.

    Verify and operate

    Check the connection, open the server desk and invite administrators only after the server responds.

Qonzer Hosting, Bicest Hosting, xrealm Hosting. Most connections use port 7776. If your host uses a self-signed TLS certificate, enable that option only for the server you are connecting.

Player operations

See connected players by faction, review match values, message, move, kick, kill, reserve, ban and unban within the permissions the owner grants.

Match control

Change the current or next map, manage rotation, choose lighting, end or restart a match and validate the active server configuration.

Server automation

Schedule broadcasts, announce game mode changes, assist seeding, expire temporary bans and configure automatic team balance.

Discord delivery

Publish a maintained server status message with the map, mode, population, scores and faction-aware top-player results.

Moderation review

Review unusual player activity and server actions. Signals require a human decision and never punish a player automatically.

Accountable access

The primary server owner invites administrators by Discord ID and selects each permission. Every console action is recorded.

Clear expectations

WHAT THE GAME API DOES NOT PROVIDE.

The desk reports only information supplied by the WARDOGS server API. It does not invent statistics or imply controls the game does not support.

  • WARDOGS does not expose in-game chat through its RCON API.
  • The game does not provide headshot, team-kill, player IP, proxy or VPN data.
  • Public player statistics exist only for servers whose owners explicitly enable tracking.
  • Site administrators cannot open a private RCON desk unless its owner invited their account.

Owner-controlled reporting

PUBLIC STATS ARE OPT IN.

When a primary owner enables tracking, WARDOGS NOW records the match values the game exposes. Private connection details, credentials and administrative access never appear in public stats.
