Community owners can now put live stats from their server on their own website. There are two ways to do it.

Embeds. Paste one snippet and you get a live status card or a top-players leaderboard. They match a dark or light page and refresh themselves every minute.
A read-only API. Developers can pull the same data as JSON: the server status and totals, the leaderboard, or a single player's numbers.
It uses the real WARDOGS names for maps and modes, for example Bakurani and King of the Hill, not internal game codes.

It's off until the owner turns it on
Nothing is shared by default. The switch is in the RCON console under Server > Public API, and it only works while player stats tracking is on for that server.

Owners only. By default only the server owner can use it. An owner can give it to a trusted sub-user as its own permission. Access to server config does not include it.
Same data as the stats pages. It shows what the public stats pages already show: server status, totals, and players' in-game names, SteamID64 and stats. Players who asked to be removed never appear.
Nothing private is exposed. Your RCON address, password, members and console tools are never included, and the API only reads.
Turning it off is immediate. The addresses then answer as if the server doesn't exist, so nobody can tell whether a server ever had it on.
Easy to set up
The Public API tab has ready-to-use snippets for your own server, each with a Copy button. The API addresses use your real server ID, so you can paste them straight into your site. There is also a short JavaScript example for developers.

For webmasters, the full guide is at wardogsnow.com/developers/stats-api. It covers the parameters, example responses, error codes, and what to expect from the service.

Fair use
The limit is 120 requests a minute per address. Data refreshes about once a minute, so asking more often returns the same numbers.
The embeds link back to Wardogs Now. If you build your own display from the JSON, a small link to your server's stats page is appreciated.
Everything under /v1/ only ever gains new fields. Anything that would break existing sites would come as a separate /v2/, with v1 kept running.
Smaller fixes
The explanation text on the Public API tab is larger and easier to read.
The demo server shows the Public API examples greyed out, since it has no stats to share.
If you run into anything with the embeds or the API, tell us in the Wardogs Now Support Ticket and we'll look at it.
