Wardogs Now is not run by a company or by the studio. It is a fan site, built and paid for by one person, and it has been free to use since the day it went up. There is no paywall, no premium tier, and nothing that gets unlocked by paying.
Here is what the site does right now, for anyone who plays WARDOGS:
- A server browser with live player counts, maps and rulesets for every server in the game, official and community, updated every minute.
- An RCON console that community owners use to run their servers: players, bans, rotations, broadcasts, Discord status embeds and team balance, from any browser.
- Player stats collected from participating community servers, with per-server and per-map records.
- Community pages, a Discord bot that posts news, events, server status and seeding alerts, an Armory catalogue with a loadout builder, and a creator directory.
All of that runs on a server that is paid for every month, along with the domain and the bot. This week the site moved to a faster dedicated server after the old shared host ran out of room, which is a good thing for everyone using it, and also a bigger bill.
The time is given freely. The hosting is not. If Wardogs Now has helped you find a server, run your community, track your stats or fill an empty server on a quiet night, a donation would mean a lot. There is no set amount. A few dollars covers a day of hosting; more than that goes straight into keeping the site fast and adding the things people ask for.
